Statement of Publication Ethics & Malpractice
ICTE Press is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity across all its journals and publications. Our primary responsibility is to prevent publishing malpractice and ensure a transparent, fair, and rigorous editorial process.
All submitted manuscripts must represent the authors' original work and be free from plagiarism. Any form of unethical conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate rejection or retraction.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors are required to disclose any financial or non-financial interests directly or indirectly related to the work submitted. Disclosures ensure transparency and enable readers to form their own judgments regarding potential bias.
Required Documentation: Authors must submit a formal Conflicts of Interest Statement for all submissions.

Studies involving human participants must include confirmation that the study was conducted in accordance with ethical guidelines (e.g., BERA, AERA). Informed consent must be obtained from all individual participants, especially when dealing with vulnerable populations or young learners.
- Participants must be informed of the study's purpose and their right to withdraw.
- Confidentiality and anonymity must be protected throughout the research.
- Approval from an institutional review board (IRB) is required where applicable.

Originality & Plagiarism
Authors must guarantee that their submitted manuscripts are entirely original. All sources drawn from other works must be properly cited and attributed.
Plagiarism Screening: All submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin. Only manuscripts with a similarity index below 20% will be considered for publication. Manuscripts found to involve plagiarism will be immediately rejected.
AI and AI-Assisted Tools
Authorship carries responsibilities that cannot be delegated to artificial intelligence. Manuscripts written entirely or substantially by AI tools will not be accepted. The use of AI for data analysis or coding is permitted but must be clearly described in the Methods section and disclosed upon submission.
Authorship & Responsibilities
Authorship is limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, acquisition, or interpretation of data. All named authors must approve the final version and agree to be accountable for the work's integrity.
Corresponding Author: One author must be designated to manage all correspondence between the journal and co-authors before and after publication.
Reviewers' Responsibilities
Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the quality of the editorial process. They are expected to:
- Provide objective and informed assessments within specified timeframes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all manuscript materials.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from the review if necessary.
- Notify the Editor of any significant overlap with other published works.
Corrections & Retractions
The Editorial Team will conduct an investigation in cases of suspected misconduct. Articles will be retracted if findings are demonstrated to be false due to fabrication, error, or serious ethical violations. Authors are required to notify the journal promptly of any errors discovered post-publication.
