This unit helps you describe what people look like and what they are like (appearance and personality). Learners can follow the lessons in order or choose the skill they want to practice.
Practice short dialogues about friends, classmates, and family members – asking and answering about looks and personality.
Learn useful words and phrases for describing people: tall, short, curly hair, friendly, shy, serious, funny, and more.
Use English in real-life situations: talking about classmates, describing a friend to someone, or introducing people at a party.
Look at pictures and describe what people look like and what they are doing: She has long blond hair. He’s wearing glasses.
Read short texts about different people and answer questions to check comprehension and vocabulary.
Listen to descriptions and conversations about people, then choose or say the correct answers to show understanding.
