Theme 2: Technology

 PART 1: The teacher will ask the students general questions about themselves and a range of familiar topics. This part lasts between two and three minutes.

1. What technology do you often use, computers or cell phones?
2. What electronic devices have you bought lately?
3. Do you think technology has made life easier or more complicated?
4. Do you think online shopping is a good trend?
5. Do you enjoy using technology?
6. What technology do you use when you study?
7. What benefits does technology bring to our life?
8. Are there any technological devices you want to buy?

Technology – Part 1

 PART 2: Students will be given a card which asks them to talk about a particular topic. The students will have one minute to prepare before speaking for up to two minutes. The teacher will then ask one or two questions on the same topic.

Topic 1:

Describe a piece of technology that you find useful You should say: + What it is + What you can do with it + How often you use it and explain why you find it so useful
