This issue explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence in reshaping language education practices globally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this issue, Ngo (2024) explores the utility of ChatGPT for English vocabulary acquisition in EFL contexts, especially in exam-oriented Vietnam. Guided by Krashen\u2019s Input Hypothesis and Cognitive Load Theory, the literature review highlights ChatGPT\u2019s role in enhancing vocabulary retention, reducing cognitive load, and promoting learner autonomy. However, concerns about reliance, misinformation, and privacy emerge. Recommendations for teacher training and responsible application aim to maximize ChatGPT\u2019s benefits while mitigating risks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nguyen (2024) examines AI-based tools\u2019 role in enhancing English speaking proficiency, focusing on impacts, challenges, and long-term engagement. The study highlights immediate benefits like reduced language anxiety and improved fluency but notes barriers such as technological infrastructure and teacher training. Emphasis is placed on addressing gaps in advanced learning and sustaining long-term proficiency through AI integration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Huynh (2024) reviews the integration of AI-based tools in EFL education, focusing on their impact on learner autonomy. Findings reveal enhanced self-regulation and independence due to tailored feedback, though concerns about over-reliance persist. The study highlights gaps in research on younger learners and the need for comparative evaluations of AI tools for fostering autonomy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nguyen (2024) reviews the use of video recording to enhance EFL learners\u2019 speaking skills, emphasizing fluency, pronunciation, and self-confidence. The study reveals its underutilization in Vietnam due to technological and methodological barriers. Recommendations include improving teacher training and resources.
