Overdue Reviewer Reminders Pro — User Guide

🚀 Quick Installation (3 Steps)

Upload the overdueReviewerReminders folder to /public_html/plugins/generic/.
Go to Settings > Website > Plugins > Installed Plugins in your OJS administration dashboard.
Enable Overdue Reviewer Reminders Pro, click the blue expand arrow, and open Settings.

⚡ How to Use

Once opened, the plugin interface gives you real-time visibility into every active peer reviewer:

Live Table: Displays Submission #ID, Title, Reviewer name/email, Due Date, and Days Overdue.
Individual Reminders: Click 📧 Send Reminder next to any reviewer to send an instant customized email.
Batch Dispatches: Click ⚡ Send Batch Reminders to All Overdue to nudge all overdue reviewers in 1 click.

⏰ Automated Background Cron (Optional)

To run automated daily checks and reminder dispatches at 04:00 AM every morning via cPanel Cron Jobs:

0 4 * * * php /home/your_username/public_html/plugins/generic/overdueReviewerReminders/tools/send_overdue_reminders.php >> /home/your_username/scheduledTaskLogs/overdue_reminders.log 2>&1
