3. Step-by-Step Installation (cPanel / Server)

Step 1: Upload and Extract via cPanel

Log into your cPanel and open File Manager.
Navigate to your OJS installation directory:

Upload cleanIncompleteSubmissions.zip.
Right-click the uploaded zip file and click Extract.

Step 2: Clear OJS Caches

Log into your OJS site as an Administrator.
Go to Administration in the left menu.
Under Administrative Functions, click:
- Clear Data Caches
- Clear Template Cache

Step 3: Enable the Plugin

Navigate to Settings → Website → Plugins → Generic Plugins.

No. The plugin strictly targets submissions where the author never completed the submission process (submission_progress != ''). Completed or published papers are never touched.
